DESCRIPTION
Gentamycin 10% belongs to the group of aminoglycosides and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like E. coli, Klebsiella, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. The bactericidal action is based on inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.
INDICATION
Gentamycin Sulfate injection is an aminoglycoside antibiotics. Mainly used to treat Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by gentamicin sensitive bacteria, like E. coli, Klebsiella, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine.
TARGET SPECIES

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to gentamicin.
Administration to animals with a serious impaired hepatic and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration of nephrotoxic substances.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Intramuscular injection:
General: 1 ml twice a day, per 20 - 40 kg body weight, for 3 consecutive days.
RESIDUE WARNING
- Kidneys: 45 days.
- Meat: 7 days.
- Milk: 3 days.

STORAGE
Stored under normal conditions (below 30ºC), should be protected from light.Keep out of reach of children.
